When we think “Canada”, it usually conjures images of Mounties, moose, and maple syrup, but our neighbor to the North is also home to one of North America’s most beautiful metropolises; Toronto. With its signature skyline, niche neighborhoods, and bustling bicycle culture – it’s the perfect backdrop for a two-wheeled adventure. Lucky for us, Toronto-based photographer Alen Palander had just such a journey in mind, so we sent him a Romeo and told him to go to town (like literally, go shoot the stuff you like to see when you bike in the city). These photos capture Toronto through Alen’s eyes. They speak to the grace and grandeur of the city, the lives and loves of locals and, most excitingly, illustrate that bikes and the city go together like french fries and poutine. Enjoy!
